Who would have thought, in a no-name little town in Idaho, we would find the most adorable breakfast spot ever! Super cute, delicious tea, scrumptious food, and a delightful staff. We met a nice man who noticed our New York plates and inquired about the likes of buffalo, where he is thinking of relocating to be closer to his family in Toronto. We didn’t have too much to offer in the conversation, because neither of us knows very much about Buffalo, except that it’s really cold and it snows a lot. As we left the café, the man wished us safe travels, and left us with eerily haunting words.. “watch out for (inaudible mumble)”. Doing what any respectable person does when you don’t really hear what someone says, we both laughed and smiled, but when we looked back that man had a grim expression on his face. It was a serious warning, but neither one of us REALLY heard what he said. Watch out for Utah???? That’s what it sounded like, but it makes no sense, and we’re not really sure that’s what he actually said. Is this a spooky foreshadowing of events that will take place in Utah?? Only Time will tell.
Next Stop: well, tomorrow is Sunday. Hotel in Salt Lake so we can watch football, obviously.
